Provides local schools and educational agencies with volunteer assistance by placing income qualified retired men and women in classrooms to provide mentoring, tutoring and other services for children.
Seniors age 60+ with less than $1,830 per individual/per month can qualify for a $30 voucher packet (six $5 vouchers) to be used at local farmers markets to purchase fresh produce (some restrictions apply).
