Al‑Anon is a mutual support program for people whose lives have been affected by someone else’s drinking. By sharing common experiences and applying the Al-Anon principles, families and friends of alcoholics can bring positive changes to their individual situations, whether or not the alcoholic admits the existence of a drinking problem or seeks help.

Angels Care Home Health is a Medicare-Certified Home Health agency providing quality home health care services by offering caring, compassionate and cost effective service focused on each patient’s unique needs. Facilities available for use include basketball courts, meeting rooms, walking track, and Fitness Center. ACRC also manages the Family Aquatic Center, Paris Park Pool, C Dow Sports Complex, AC Skate Park, & Ark City Sports Complex.

The Cowley County CDDO is a department of the county and serves as the single point of entry for anyone needing or inquiring about services for individuals in Cowley County with an Intellectual/Developmental Disability or MR/DD. The CDDO determines I/DD eligibility according to State guidelines and eligibility for HCBS services through a basic assessment and presents provider choices to those who are determined eligible.

Provides a list of open positions in Cowley County. Can provide assistance on how to apply for jobs and information on training and education opportunities. Also partners with Kansas Workforce and Workforce Alliance to provide listings for jobs statewide.

Cowley County Economic Development Partnership was established in 2004 as a countywide agency to serve Cowley County in community and economic development efforts.  Our primary goal is to offer assistance to established, expanding and new businesses.  As a community development organization, we target opportunities that build on quality-of-life initiatives.

Joseph's Storehouse is a thrift store that accepts donations of gently used clothing and household items. We also distribute The Emergency Food Assistance Program for low-income individuals and families and the Commodity Supplemental Food Program for seniors. Both programs allow participants to receive food or commodities every month. In addition, we also have our own food pantry for short term emergencies, as well as our Good Neighbor Fund that may be able to assist with rent, utilities, or other emergency expenses. Clients can receive food once every 30 days, a maximum of 12 times per year.
Clients are provided with a variety of nonperishable items such as canned vegetables, pancake mix, spaghetti sauce, peanut butter, etc. as well as meat and bakery products while supplies last. Hygiene items such as toothbrushes and deodorant may also be available.

Youth Scholarships available: There is no cost to those families on the KanCare United Healthcare Plan (Excludes Sunflower and Amerigroup). Simply bring in your Member ID card and complete a sign-up form. All other families on the free lunch program will receive a 75% discount. In addition, those families on the reduced lunch program will receive a 50% discount. Scholarships must be requested at the time of registration. Parents need to stop by the WRC office during enrollment periods to complete a scholarship form. Contact Superintendent Troy Moree for more information or to contribute to this scholarship fund. Proof of eligibility MUST be provided at time of enrollment.
